STEAG Energy Services is a subsidiary of STEAG GmbH present in Africa, North and South America, Asia and Europe. STEAG Energy Services stays for professional, expert energy services in many different areas. These include engineering services in the construction and modernization of all types of fossil fuel-fired power plants, plant management services and IT solutions to optimize costs and processes, always focusing on sustainability, greater efficiency in the operation of power plants and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

In 2008, ESS has established a subsidiary in Rio de Janeiro – one of the best Brazilian cities concerning infrastructure, high economic growth and its strong business potential, especially after Brazil was selected to host two major international events: the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
